By car
If you prefer to drive, you can reach us in a day from the north coast of France, using the Channel Tunnel, or a ferry from Dover, Newhaven, Portsmouth, Poole, Plymouth or Weymouth. If you are driving from the North into Beaulieu via the D940 look for the very obvious '20' speed indicator painted in a big red circle on the road. You need the next right turn, soon after passing over this sign. Continue to the top of the road past the square on your left. When you get to the 'T' junction, turn left. Take the second road on the right. You will see 'La Chabanaise' signposted at this junction. Drive up this road for 1km and on a hairpin bend you will see a green post box and 'La Chabanaise' signposted off the bend. Continue for 300m and voila! You have arrived.
If approaching from the South, cross the bridge over the Dordogne river from Altillac into Beaulieu-Sur-Dordogne and continue for 500m through the town. You will drive over a very obvious '20' speed indicator painted in a big red circle on the road. Take the next left just before 'Pizzaria and Bar Les Voyageurs'. Continue to the top of the road past the square on your left. When you get to the 'T' junction, turn left. Take the second road on the right. You will see 'La Chabanaise' signposted at this junction. Drive up this road for 1km and on a hairpin bend you will see a green post box and 'La Chabanaise' signposted off the bend. Continue for 300m and voila! You have arrived.
By train
